KS2 Class teacher

Key Stage 2 Class teacher (fixed term, part time)
1st September 2025 – 31st August 2026

High Hesket CE School wishes to appoint, with effect from 1st September 2025, a passionate, creative and enthusiastic teacher to join our hardworking, committed staff at this vibrant and forward thinking village school. The position will be fixed term on a 0.6 contract until 31st August 2026 for one year only due to budget constraints and will be to teach in an upper Key Stage 2 class.

The successful candidate will need to be:
•    An enthusiastic, experienced and creative classroom practitioner
•    Have high expectations in all areas of school life
•    Be motivated, organised and committed
•    Be able to work as part of our vibrant and supportive team
•    Be able to plan to meet the expectations of the National Curriculum
•    Be able to meet the needs of all individual pupils, including those with SEND
•    Be willing to participate in the wider life of the school
•    Be willing to uphold that values and ethos of our Church of England school
•    Be dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for the children that supports their wellbeing
