Askam Village School is a friendly and welcoming village school where ‘Everybody Matters and Every Moment Counts’. 
There are currently 181 children on roll from Nursery to Year 6.

The Roles:
We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and inspiring teachers to join our dedicated team in providing the best experiences for our children. The successful candidates will be responsible to planning and delivering high quality learning within a nurturing environment.

Post 1 – Teacher Year 1 permanent 

Post 2 – Teacher Year 4 or Year 5 permanent

Key responsibilities:

-    Work effectively and form strong, positive and caring relationships with children, staff and parents
-    Plan and teach high quality learning ensuring all children reach their full potential, in line with National Curriculum and school schemes of work.
-    Assess and monitor learning and report on progress and achievements in line with school policies.
-    Foster a positive learning environment where children thrive
-    Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all pupils including those with special educational needs

We are looking for:
-    Qualified teachers with a passion for teaching and learning
-    Team-players who can work as part of our hard-working and experienced team contributing to the wider life of the school 
-    Willingness to engage in continued professional development
