Fixed-term part-time KS2 Senior Teaching Assistant or Teaching Assistant (Term-Time only)

15 hours (mornings)

Due to SEN provision for the academic year.

Required starting 1st September 2025 until 31st August 2026

PCD5 Teaching Assistant: £25,183 pro-rata  PCD7  Senior Teaching Assistant: £27,711(A) pro-rata

The Headteacher and Governing Body of St. Paul’s C of E Junior School wish to appoint an inspirational, compassionate and flexible Senior Teaching Assistant/ Teaching Assistant (depending on qualifications and experience) to join our friendly, hard-working team.

•    Has good communication skills.
•    Has compassion and sensitivity towards children.
•    Has knowledge of the primary curriculum.
•    Has relevant experience and qualifications (NVQ L3 or equivalent for STA, NVQ L2 or equivalent for TA) to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
•    Has experience of contributing to the planning of work and adaptation of resources to meet the needs of individual pupils.
•    Is able to adapt to what the situation requires.
•    Is able to work as part of a team.
•    Has a passion for children’s wellbeing and learning.
•    Values a holistic approach to children’s learning.
