Teacher of Key Stage 2 (Year 5/6 or Year 3/4) 
Fixed term (to cover a period of maternity leave) Full-time

To start September 2025

We are looking to appoint a teacher to cover a period of maternity leave in one of our mixed-age Key Stage 2 classes. Whilst our vacancy is for our mixed Year 5/6 class, we would also welcome strong applications from teachers with experience in Years 3/ 4 and, in the best interests of the children, we will place the successful candidate in the Key Stage 2 age group which matches their strengths and experience.

Ambleside CE Primary School is a small school situated in the beautiful Lake District town of Ambleside. We are fortunate that our school is centrally situated within Ambleside with everything that Ambleside has to offer right on our doorstep.

The successful candidate will join a highly motivated and hardworking staff team.
