We are a community school with 820 students aged 11-16 years on roll. Situated in the historic town of Dalton in Furness, we enjoy being on the fringe of the Lake District National Park. We are seeking to appoint an Operations Manager to manage and implement health and safety best practice, ensuring the school complies with current health and safety legislation. To lead the Site Team, ensuring the Dowdales site operates effectively and efficiently to achieve its goal of providing a first class resource for the school, town and wider community. This role will also lead and manage the school catering service, Dalton Active Sports Hall (DASH) and all other lettings within the school.

We would welcome applications from someone who has:
NVQ Level 3 or 4 or equivalent experience or knowledge in the relevant work area.
Knowledge of the procedures and approaches in the area and understanding of general organisation procedures, regulations and legislation, as applicable to this role.
Knowledge of health and safety and relevant procedures and policies and how they apply to the work area.
