We are seeking to appoint a Senior Teaching Assistant to work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. You will plan, deliver and assess learning with small groups of students providing support to help students achieve their very best.

We would welcome applications from someone who has: 
•    NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent experience or knowledge in the relevant work area
•    Excellent numeracy/literacy skills
•    Up to date knowledge and understanding of the practices and procedures within education relating to the welfare, safety and education of children.
