The Governing Body of Morland Area C of E Primary School and Mini Morlanders Pre-School are looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner for our brand new 2-3 year old nursery room. 

This post is temporary  for a year , in the first instance, due to uncertainty around pupil numbers.

Westmorland and Furness Grade, PCD5 FTE Salary £25,183.00 pro rata. Hours – 45 hours per week, over 5 days. This is a term time only position. The opportunity to job share this role is available.

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Practitioner to join our school team. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the well-being and development of children from 2 years old in our brand new purpose built 2-3 year old nursery room.

What We're Looking For: 
•    A genuine passion for working with young children. 
•    Excellent communication skills. 
•    Ability to work effectively as part of a team. 
•    A willingness to learn and develop your skills. 
•    Relevant childcare qualifications (Minimum Level 2) 
•    Experience in a childcare setting (experience with 2-3s preferred) 
•    Paediatric First Aid qualification.

Morland Area C of E Primary School and Mini Morlanders Pre-School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and well-being of its pupils. The successful candidate will be required to undertake pre-employment checks, which include a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (to include a children’s barred list check), references, and Right to Work in the UK.
