Part-time Senior Teaching Assistant

 Start date is 5th January 2026

The Governors of Dane Ghyll Community School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and conscientious Senior Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated staff

PCD7 - £28,598 - £29,540 pro rata for part time & term time only working.

The role consists of 26 hours per week Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will:
• Hold NVQ3 equivalent 
• Have good knowledge of KS1 and KS2 expectations 
• Have experience of contributing to planning, monitoring and assessing pupils in partnership with the class teacher.

• has a sense of humour and is approachable
• is committed to the needs of pupils and parents
• is adaptable to change
• promotes an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• can work on a one to one basis and with small groups
