What skills and experience we are looking for:
The children, staff, and Governing Body of Alston Primary School are excited to welcome a dedicated and creative Class Teacher to join our friendly and hardworking team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school that sits at the heart of its community.

The Role:
You will be teaching for three days per week, supported by teaching assistants. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all pupils while fostering a positive, nurturing classroom environment. We are offering a permanent contract. The ability to teach KS2 would be advantageous

We are a small, community-based school with a long tradition of serving local children and their families. We aim to be caring and inclusive while still providing an excellent academic grounding for all our children. •    Have recent experience in teaching

•    Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
•    Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
•    Be well-organised and reflective, with a commitment to professional development.
•    Support the school’s ethos and vision wholeheartedly.
