Salary: OP5 Grade 5 £25,989, pro rata for part time working. Salary can be discussed depending upon experience.

We are seeking to appoint a reliable and trustworthy School Maintenance Assistant to work alongside our existing site management team. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring that the schools buildings and grounds are a safe working environment for all.

Key expectations of this role:

-Keep our school premises clean, tidy and safe.
-Carry out routine maintenance tasks, refurbishment, minor repairs and all associated handyperson activities.
-Respond flexibly to day to day needs and emergencies.

The successful applicant will have good DIY and practical skills, be a good communicator and be able to work in a team. They will also be comfortable working in a busy school environment and be able to respond flexibly to a dynamic task list.
