Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Literacy and School Library 
Permanent position
37 hours per week - Monday to Friday 
Term time plus an additional 1 week contracted hours (pro rata)
Hours of Work 08.15 – 16.00 for 4 days, 08.15 – 17.00 for 1 day. Some degree of flexibility may be required within these hours.

Salary Scale PCD8ii starting at £32,061 (equating to £27,453 per annum pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students, particularly with literacy, and to develop and manage the school library.  To work with groups of students/individuals to support them with their literacy and specific subjects.

We would welcome applications from someone who has: 
•    NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience in relevant area of work.
•    Proven experience in a role of responsibility.
•    Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures.
