Ulverston Victoria High School is a happy and thriving 11-18 school and sixth form and is at the heart of the community in the picturesque South Lakeland market town of Ulverston.

From 1st September 2026, we are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational teacher to permanently join our team to deliver Business Studies at both KS4 & KS5. The teaching in the faculty is innovative and lively, with students developing respect for and sensitivity to others. Social Science staff collaborate on cross subject projects and lead whole school initiatives.
The Social Sciences Faculty consists of six subjects: Business Studies, Health and Social Care, Law, Psychology, Sociology, and Media Studies. OCR is the examination board for GCSE Business Studies, while AQA is used for A Level qualifications.
We welcome applications from professional, effective and motivated ECTs and experienced teachers, who are keen to join our high performing team at Ulverston Victoria High School. A full and appropriate induction programme is available for all ECTs.
