Teaching assistant post (P5) available: 30.0 hrs (8:45 – 3:30 Mon- Fri), temporary (fixed term contract) to cover absence. Potential for permanent contract.
Salary PCD5 - £25,989.00 pro rata for part time & term time only working.
Flookburgh CE Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and calm teaching assistant for a full-time, temporary post, available from Mid-March 2026 (or as near as possible) through to end of July 2026.
Are you able to support a child with learning or emotional needs?
Are you able to build positive relationships with children and recognise and build on their unique characters and abilities?
Do you have extensive experience of working in a school-based early years setting?
Are you able to support and provide input to the planning of Early Years provision?
Do you have an understanding of child-centred approaches that develop capacity to make informed choices and act as a role model to others?
Are you able to work both under direction and to exercise your own initiative?
