Early Years Teaching Assistant
Permanent - Part Time 32.5 hours

The Governors of Beaconside Church of England Primary School and Nursery are seeking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our forward thinking, nurturing and highly skilled Early Years Team and play a key role in shaping strong foundations for our youngest learners in Nursery and Reception.

PCD5 £25,989 pro rata Term Time Only

Our Early Years Provision 
Over recent years, our Early Years provision has undergone significant development and improvement. We are proud of the calm, engaging and language rich environment we have created, where children learn through play while also receiving rigorous teaching of early reading, writing and mathematics as they move in to Reception.

We are now looking for someone with the enthusiasm and compassion to work closely with our class teachers to continue to strengthen outcomes for all children.

The Role
We are looking for a teaching assistant that can work in Nursery and/or Reception who:
•    demonstrates genuine care, warmth and curiosity about every child
•    has a strong understanding of high quality Early Years practice
•    can provide high quality interactions for children 
•    is committed to ensuring excellent outcomes for every child
•    values collaboration and is motivated to develop their practice 
•    lives out our Christian values in their daily work and relationships
