Council opening hours throughout Christmas

A2B NowCard is a bus pass for young people which offers reduced fares on all local bus services in our area. Find out how to apply for and how you can use your card.
If you are aged 5 to 20 and live in Westmorland and Furness you can apply for the pass. It costs £10 per year.
Application forms are available at all libraries in Westmorland and Furness or you can download an A2B NowCard application form (PDF , 316KB).

If you don’t have a bank account we can also accept your parent’s Council Tax statement, a utility bill or bank statement - if their surname is the same and they live at the same address as you.
From 13 July onwards, staff at Barrow, Kendal and Penrith libraries can take your photograph and complete your application for you.
Your pass is sent to your home address.
When using your pass:
You can use your pass at weekends and school holidays, and on school days but not before 9:30am or between 3pm and 5pm.
You can also travel as far as Carlisle, Keswick and Lancaster with a return ticket purchased in Westmorland and Furness.
