New residential and commercial developments in the Carleton Road area have increased activity from pedestrians and vehicles. Developments are continuing and we're proposing to reduce the speed limit to ensure the safety of all road users.
You can read full details of the proposal, along with our reasons for proposing a speed limit and a location map of the area in the documents section.
Location
The length of road is the A686, Carleton Avenue in Penrith.
It starts from the junction with Kemplay Bank roundabout and extends in a north easterly direction for 1.6km.
