We manage the allotment at Priory Road in Ulverston. It is open to Ulverston residents only and plots cost 46p per square metre, per year.
To join the waiting list, fill out an allotment enquiry form and email to locality@westmorlandandfurness.gov.uk.

South Lakeland also has a number of sites available to let for grazing cattle, sheep, horses or mowing grass.
Grazing land is offered on a 360-day licence agreement.
Our policy is to offer a new licence to the previous licence holder in the first instance. Therefore vacancies are rare and would usually be advertised in the local press.
The licence fee depends on the size and location of the field. Each licence agreement is subject to a one off payment of £35 + VAT to cover administrative costs.

The council manages two allotments in Barrow
