Waste into Wellbeing - Kendal People's Cafe, Community Food Larder & Community Kitchen

We collect Surplus food from local supermarkets, shops and eateries which would otherwise be wasted, it is served as delicious meals in Kendal People’s Café or shared with others through the community food larder.
We also host a Community kitchen, offering training opportunities and social events.
We serve hot and cold drinks, snacks, cakes and hot lunches on a 'pay as you can' donation basis. We have a Community Food Larder several times a week. We are a community 'warm spot' on Thursdays November to - April.
