We want to create a new single waste and recycling service for the whole of Westmorland and Furness, to deliver collection services that:
- are more reliable
- are most effective
- are better for the environment
- make it easier for people to recycle more and waste less
Following recent feedback from local residents, we've drawn up a number of options that will help us to make a decision about the waste and recycling services.

Options Consultation Survey
We launched the consultation on Wednesday 14 May 2025, which runs for eight weeks.
