Before you report to us

Before you report a missed bin check whether:

• it was put out on the right day, find your bin collection day
• it was placed at the kerbside and could be clearly seen
• it contained the correct items
• the crew haven’t put a sticker on your bin explaining why it was not emptied
• the lid was closed – if the bin is so full that the bin does not close properly it will not be collected

Sometimes we might not have collected your bin because of issues like flooding, snow and ice, a blocked road or a vehicle breakdown.
