    Monday 13 July. There has been a disruption to todays recycling round. Roadworks prevented access. We will return when possible, please leave your bins out.

  • Kendal: Skelsmergh & Whinfell

    Friday 10 July. There has been a disruption to the grey bin round today. This round has been cancelled. We will aim to return on Saturday. Please leave your bins out.

  • Ulverston: Rear of Cox Street & Neville Street

    Tuesday 07 July. There has been a disruption to the grey bin round today. Parked vehicles prevented access. We will return when possible, please leave your bins out.

  • Lindal-in-Furness: Road Closure

    There is a road closure in Lindal-in-Furness from 15 July 2026. Unfortunately, we are unable to access the street for collections, nor will we be able to safely pull the bins out to the vehicle for emptying as we would have to stop on and load from the main road (A590). This would pose an unacceptable risk for our staff and the general public. We will be sending letters to the affected properties and leaving bags for them to use. We will collect all the side (extra) bagged waste on the next collection day. However, this is dependent on access to the street.
