The Summer 2026 timetable will start from 23rd March, however initially the service 508 will only run from Penrith to Patterdale (to the normal Summer frequency) due to a road closure between Kirkstone and Troutbeck following a major landslip

Until the pass opens there will be no service between Bowness and Patterdale and no service to Troutbeck or Kirkstone Inn

A limited service between Patterdale and Hartsop will be provided by an extension of the 509 which will run Daily this Summer

More information about impact of the landslip

As soon as it is possible to re-open the full service will resume.
