We recommend contacting groups directly before attending as their opening times and support may differ.

Some groups focused on tackling food waste are open to all.

To get help from a food bank you need to be referred with a voucher.

Your GP, housing association or Citizens Advice can assess you for a food voucher and provide signposting for help towards your crisis.

Ulverston Food Bank

A range of partner agencies provide referrals to ensure people in need are supported.

Ulverston Food Project

Community Food Share and pre-loved uniform open same time as ‘drop in’ foodshare for free and affordable uniform for Ulverston and surrounding area. 

£6.00 per session for £40 - £50 worth of surplus food. Open to low income households or anyone experiencing food insecurity. Please contact Linden.
