Part time 32.5 core hours Monday – Friday, 30 minutes lunch, (plus additional hours between 7.45am and 5.15pm when necessary) (term time only)

Based across 2 of the schools - Hindpool Nursery School/Dane Ghyll School

A Nursery Assistant with initiative and a caring, positive and flexible approach is required. The post will involve working closely in a team, supporting and providing individual care for pupils with a range of needs. The role will involve primarily working in 9 month old room but also working across our whole nursery site, with children from 2 – 4 years old.

Essentials

• Is a committed, enthusiastic and has a passion for working with children
•Experience of working in this age range
• Works well as part of a team
• Holds at least an NVQ level 2 
• Be a committed team member and be willing to become involved in the wider life of the school
• Have high expectations of both themselves and pupils
• Able to take the initiative and make decisions.

Desirables

• Confidence in dealing with children.
• NVQ level 3
• Understanding of Safeguarding in School; Health and Safety; Data Protection; Confidentiality     issues
• Will support all staff to create stimulating learning environments
