 The Governing Body at Vickerstown School wish to appoint 2 x senior teaching assistants to work across all key stages, including our nursery. These roles are to start as soon as possible on a permanent contract.

We are looking for someone with initiative who is enthusiastic and dedicated and has a caring, positive, and flexible approach. The successful applicant will be required to work closely in a team and assist the teachers in meeting the personal, social and curriculum related needs of pupils, and supporting and providing individual care for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, sometimes complex, including social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

The successful candidate will have recent experience of supporting pupils with SEN and recent experience of assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans and planning to meet the needs of these children. This role will be varied and interesting.

The successful applicants would ideally have experience of working 1:1 with SEN children, however this is not essential.

The Governors of St Bernard’s Catholic High School in Barrow-in-Furness are looking to appoint a highly motivated and passionate Operations Coordinator. We are looking for someone who will be responsible forproactively planning, developing

and monitoring operational activities for the whole school in liaison with the relevant departments and senior staff, including Health and Safety, General Data Protection Regulations, Data, Emergency Planning, Estate and Asset Management and other operations and compliance responsibilities as required. The role is responsible for management of the site team and assisting with supervising other staff.
