Overview

The English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) provides free off peak travel on scheduled bus services for people with disabilities.

When you can apply

You can apply for a disabled person's bus pass if you have a disability and are aged 5 and over. You will need to give us details and evidence of your disability.

Where you can use your bus pass

You can use your disabled person's NoWcard for free off peak travel (between 9.30am and 11.00pm Monday to Friday, all day Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays) on local bus services throughout England.

If you have an All Day 24/7 NoWcard you can also travel for free before 9:30am and after 11pm Monday to Friday on local bus journeys that start, end or are wholly within Westmorland and Furness.
