Forecast: Sunny spells and showers this afternoon. Clear periods and further scattered showers this evening, perhaps with some sleet and wet snow over higher roads. Most of the showers should ease away later in the evening and for a time overnight leaving clear periods for a time. However, showers will return later in the night, wintry across higher routes. RSTs close to or below zero over high routes with the risk of icy patches. Showers tomorrow morning, wintry over higher roads. A cm or so possible of snow on routes above 400m towards the end of the night and into tomorrow morning.
