Barrow Forward is a community leisure centre which offers leisure, health and wellbeing activities to families and individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Dalton Leisure Centre
Dalton Leisure Centre is a superbly equipped modern leisure centre with a 20-metre swimming pool, which includes a giant frog water slide, glass-backed squash courts, a multi-purpose gym, cardiovascular suite and other sports facilities.
Barrow Astro Turf Pitches (ATP)
Barrow Park, Greengate Street, LA13 9DT
The site has six five-a-side pitches and one nine-a-side that can be split to form two seven-a-side pitches pitches). All pitches are floodlit.
Changing facilities can be booked free of charge on a first come first served basis.
There is on-site parking and bicycle racks.

South Lakeland
There are a variety of facilities available at Kendal and Ulverston leisure centres including gyms, swimming pools and sports pitches. Timetables for classes and sessions are available online.

Eden
Penrith Leisure Centre
Penrith Leisure Centre has swimming and teaching pools, a climbing wall, gym, sports hall, indoor bowl rink, sauna, meeting and exercise rooms
Appleby Leisure Centre
Appleby Leisure Centre has a 25m swimming pool with disabled access, a small teaching pool, a fitness suite and viewing gallery.
Frenchfield Sports Centre
Frenchfield Sports Centre has seven football pitches, two mini soccer pitches, changing rooms, pavilion with gallery, kitchen, meeting room and free car parking.
