The SPD provides detailed guidance for this large brownfield residential site's development. It's located off Salthouse Road, to the southeast of the town centre. The site is allocated in the Barrow Borough Local Plan 2016-31 and is in Council ownership.
This SPD sets out a clear framework and principles for what is expected from the development at the site-wide level. This will ensure the development is sustainable and coordinated. The result will create an exemplar place and a thriving community.
