Getting to the event - travel sustainably
As an ecologically aware council, we’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint – and your travel choices can make a real difference.
Over recent weeks, teams across the organisation have worked hard to provide a range of sustainable travel options to help you get to the event with ease.
Why not walk or cycle into Kendal with your team and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way? It’s a great way to boost your wellbeing, reduce emissions, and arrive feeling energised.
If you’d prefer to travel with colleagues, consider one of the group transport options available – a great way to relax and catch up en route.
