A Warm Spot offers a warm, welcoming space for people to visit this winter if they need it. They are run by a range of different organisations including churches, village halls, local councils and libraries.

All public libraries with access to the space, free membership of the library, pc access, borrowing resources, printing, regular groups and events

Barrow Market

Limited free wifi in the Market Hall. Community organisations running pop up stalls offering advice and guidance, including Age UK, Family Action, Mind, Active Cumbria, Adult Learning

Bethany Church

Free tea, coffee, cakes. A warm comfy and friendly environment. Meet new friends.

Burton Memorial Hall

Village hall open as warm hub supplying hot drinks and food and social activities / board games / jigsaws etc

Chatter Matters - Kendal

A warm, friendly space to make new friends and have a good old chat. Includes: Tea, coffee, biscuits, light lunch & games
