Works to refurbish and modernise facilities at youth organisation in Barrow have recently completed, much to the excitement of Drop Zone participants based at Lakeland House.

Westmorland and Furness Council has appointed a new director to its leadership team. David Hodgkinson will be the new Director of Resources (s151 Officer) for the authority.

Published today (Wednesday 7 May) following the council’s Annual General Meeting, the Annual Plan sets out key priorities for 2025-26, aiming to deliver real benefits for residents, businesses and visitors across Westmorland and Furness.
