Check your bin collection day

Find your household waste, recycling and garden waste bin collection dates where you live.

You can use our calendar to find out when we’ll collect your:

  • general household waste
  • recycling
  • garden waste (if you have subscribed to our garden waste collection service)

Find your bin collection day

Our calendar covers the whole of the Westmorland and Furness area.

It has options for you to:

  • download the information as a document that you can print off
  • add the details to your calendar (such as Google Calendar or Apple iCalendar) on your mobile phone, computer or other device

Garden waste collections

The calendar shows when we’re due to collect garden waste in your area. This only applies your household if you've subscribed to our garden waste collection service.

We'll continue to collect garden waste bins as usual from 1 April until 28 June 2026. This grace period is to give people the opportunity to subscribe.

If you have not subscribed by 29 June 2026 and placed a valid subscription sticker your bin, we will not empty it.

If you’ve subscribed, we’ll usually collect garden waste on the day we collected it before we introduced the new service. However, you should still check the calendar, in case your garden waste collection day or time has changed.
