Supported internships
We have been working in partnership with local providers since 2021 to deliver Supported Internships.
The Supported Internship programme is delivered in partnership with:
- National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi)
- British Association for Supported Employment (BASE)
- David Forbes - Nixon (DFN) Family Charitable Foundation - Project Search
If young people are interested in applying to current Post 16 providers, they should:
- contact them via their websites
- speak with their school, college or training provider about the ‘next steps’ towards a Supported Internship
Supported Internships are transforming the employment opportunities for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
