We are looking for hard working and dedicated member of the team to carry out any basic maintenance jobs, maintain the grounds and carry out some of the health and safety checks to meet compliance. 

The post is for 7 hours per week Monday – Friday, permanent, Term Time only, hours are flexible to meet the workload. 

OP5 (£23,893 per annum FTE) pro rata, £12.38 per hour

Previous experience of this type of work would be advantageous but not essential but a good basic knowledge of DIY skills would be required.

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well organised School Administrator who can demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and maintain high standards within the school office environment.

The position is required from 6th January 2025 although consideration will be given for an earlier or later start date to accommodate any notice period the successful candidate may be required to serve. (Training with the headteacher and current admin team will be offered prior to commencement, as necessary)

Excellent communication and administrative skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a highly motivated team. Experience of using school Management Information Systems (MIS) and a cashless parent payment system such as, ParentPay, is desirable but not essential as training will be given.  Some understanding of financial procedures would be beneficial but not essential however, the post does require working closely with our school finance administrator as required.

The office is a busy, happy place of work.  The administrator is most likely to be the first point of contact for visitors to school and as such will represent the Christian ethos of the establishment.  The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently and to a very high standard whilst retaining a sense of humour, a strong sense of team involvement and a positive attitude. A high degree of confidentiality is essential.

The days to be worked will be agreed in discussion with the Headteacher prior to appointment. Times of working shall be between 8.30am and 3.30pm as there will be a requirement to be available to parents and carers at the beginning and end of the school day.  Additional hours may be required as and when the need arises.

There are likely to be three shift patterns: early, mid and late. Depending on preferences and availability, these will be allocated or worked in a rota

To facilitate some of our external lettings, flexibility for later finishes and/or weekend hours is required. Time off in lieu is operated

We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable individuals to join our friendly Facilities/Site Team to provide maintenance and security for the school site. Ideally, these roles are full time; however, part-time requests will be considered at interview.

The Facilities Team looks after the school’s buildings and the outdoor environment. Working closely with the Facilities and Welfare Manager, and depending on the shift worked, the role of the Facilities Team Members includes:

•    opening and locking up at the start and end of the day 
•    carrying out risk assessments and scheduled inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and national regulations 
•    booking and supervising contractors
•    supporting with the general maintenance of school buildings.

Full training will be given in all aspects of the role and we are keen to encourage a wide range of applications.
