Apply for a permit

Apply or renew through MiPermit

A full permit runs for 12 months from the purchase date. You can buy it at any time of the year.

Pay for a monthly parking permit

To pay for a monthly parking permit, you should:

select your desired permit for a period of one month
check the auto renew box
insert your card details

You'll receive a monthly renewal reminder email from MiPermit. The email will state the payment date.

Cancelling a permit

You can cancel your permit at any time in your MiPermit account. You do not need to inform us of the cancellation.

If you cancel your permit later than the last day of the month, you will have to pay the next month's instalment.

After you've applied

After payment has been received, your digital permit is active. You should receive a confirmation email after payment.

We'll check your vehicle against the registration active on your MiPermit account.

Renewing your permit

Seven days before your permit expiry date, you'll receive an email confirming an auto-renewal and the price.

Changing your vehicle

You can change the vehicle registration on your digital permit online. Do this by:

logging into your MiPermit account
selecting 'Manage Digital Permits'
edit the registration
