You may choose to engage private tutors to assist in providing a suitable education, but there is no requirement to do so.
There are a range of learning styles that you may choose when educating your child(ren) at home, including:
- school at home
- autonomous learning
- child centred approaches
- learning through experience

If you think your child needs an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
You can ask the Local Authority to carry out a Statutory Assessment or a reassessment of your child’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) by contacting:
