We have a programme to introduce 20mph speed limits in various areas in Westmorland and Furness. We're currently running a consultation about 26 schemes within this programme.
This is your chance to have your say about lower speed limits and to shape designs for the schemes. We can only introduce them if we can demonstrate that we've received further support from the community, so it's essential that we hear your views.
Details about the proposals, including locations, plans and what will happen next.
How to respond to the consultation
The consultation will run between Thursday 9 April and Friday 22 May 2026.
Before giving your feedback, please read the relevant proposal documents.
