Family Hubs provide support and guidance to families with children aged 0-19 (25 with SEND) in Westmorland and Furness. We aim to keep children, young people and their families happy, healthy and safe by providing spaces and places to learn and thrive.
Activities and support
We run a range of activities and support groups in our family hubs, including:
- access to health visitors
- activities for children under 5 years old
- financial, debt and benefits advice
- housing needs
- infant feeding
- maternity support
- mental health support
- parenting support
- support for young people

Your local Family Hub is a free, friendly service, offering practical and emotional support for you and your family. Just call in and talk to the team.
We can advise on all kinds of challenges facing your day-to-day lives: practical, financial, mental health, physical health, and wellbeing. You can also use the space to meet up with other families, socialise and share experiences.
