Hourly Rate: £13.26 - £17.96
The advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.
A market supplement is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting your hourly rate in these periods to approx. £17.96. This will replace any previous market supplements and will apply to both your contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods.

About the role
As a Night Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.
It is a challenging role, with a great deal of responsibility, and we are looking for someone who has good responses, the ability to adapt and can make safe and confident decisions to support the wellbeing of our residents.

About Our Home
Grisedale Croft Residential Home provides a safe, caring and home from home environment for up to 13 residents with different levels of health care needs. Situated close to all facilities in the town of Alston, we offer residential care and community health beds for those who are elderly, frail or have dementia.
Working within our Residential Care Service will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm – 7.30am (nights), over 7 days, 365 day a year – this will include alternate weekends (as part of a set rota) and Bank Holidays.
