Location: South Lakes (with “in reach” into Furness and Eden)

Hours: 37 hours per week, however we would welcome applications from candidates who would like to consider reduced hours or job share opportunities for this position.
Please note this role allows for agile working across our offices, as well as a combination of office-based and work from home opportunities.
About this opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity within our Occupational Therapy team to support partners in Reablement and the wider community to deliver OT focused, strength based, holistic interventions. You will work with Trusted Assessors and Minor Aids Assessors to ensure they are competent in the assessing for and provision of low level equipment. You will be the point of contact for those whose competencies you are supporting and will work closely with local OT teams to ensure best practice approaches and professional reasoning are maintained.
As Reablement continues to grow and expand the role will be a great opportunity to embed good practice and the OT ethos within partner teams and to see the positive impact that this has on our local communities and our Occupational Therapy Teams.
We are looking for…
A passionate and qualified Occupational Therapist who has a strong foundation in professional practice, backed by an accredited Occupational Therapy degree (or equivalent) and registration with the relevant professional body. You will have experience in independent assessment and support delivery within Adult Services, alongside a good working knowledge of current legislation, theoretical models, and best practice approaches. We are looking for qualified OT's to join our team, and would also love to hear from individual's who are still working towards completing their ASYE.
The ideal candidate will be confident in balancing risk, making sound decisions in unpredictable situations, and contributing to team planning and resource allocation. Strong communication, people management, and collaboration skills are key in this role, as is the ability to create innovative, person-centred interventions that empower individuals.
