Self-service baby weigh locations
You can use our self-service baby scales at local venues to check your baby's weight between health visitor appointments.
The scales come with simple instructions to help you weigh your baby and record their growth in the chart at the back of their red book.
Most babies follow a similar growth pattern as they get older. If your baby has lost weight, gained a lot of weight, or their growth pattern has changed, please contact your health visitor. The contact number is included in the instruction pack with the scales.
If you are worried about your baby's growth, feeding or health for any reason, please speak to your health visitor. Venue staff will also advise you to contact the Health Visiting Team if you have any concerns.
