Our policies, plans and strategies support decision making and the delivery of our council plan priorities.
The policy framework
Our policy framework is set in the council constitution.
It's made up of policies, plans and strategies. These set the parameters in which our council's Cabinet, other Committees and officers make decisions.
We are responsible for adoption of the policy framework and the individual policies, plans and strategies within it.
Policy framework documents can only be agreed by Full Council, and include:

- Minerals and Waste Local Plan
- Licensing Authority Policy Statement
- Gambling Authority Policy Statement
