The iAI Minute Transcription service is being piloted by the council for a six week period between July and August 2025. To ensure that the pilot is successful, participants will be asked to provide feedback about their experience. This feedback will be shared with the Cabinet Office to contribute to the development of i.AI but also with internal business units for evaluation purposes and future options appraisal.
What information we collect
We need some personal data from you. This includes:
- name
- date of birth
- postal address
- email address
- phone number
- job title
- identifiers, such as employee number
We need some special category data from you. This includes:
- financial data, such bank details and card numbers
- employment, such as pay grading
- race or ethnic origin
- political opinions
- religious or philosophical beliefs
- trade union membership
- health, including adults or children’s social care
- NHS number
- sexual orientation or sex life
We need some criminal and law enforcement data from you. This includes:
- allegations
- convictions
- offences

We’ll collect data from you using the i.AI Minute Transcription portal.
Who we share your personal data with
Where there is a lawful reason to do so, we may share your data with the Cabinet Office. This is to contribute to the development of i.AI. We'll also share it with internal business units for evaluation purposes and future options appraisal.

We process personal data under the condition of UKGDPR Article 6(1) (e) Public Task/Public Interest/Official Authority.
We process special category personal data under the condition of UKGDPR Article 9(2) (g) Substantial public interest.
We process criminal and law enforcement data under the condition of UKGDPR Schedule 8(1) Statutory Purposes.
